Dear Freshome readers, as you probably already know, your feedback is what keeps us going. We were happy to get intense reactions from you in the month of September, in regard to the articles we posted daily and we invite all of you to join the relevant conversation. As usual, according to your Facebook shares, we narrowed the best projects of the previous month down to ten and by clicking each photo, you will be connected to the original post. Without further ado, here they are:
#1. Located in the heart of Megève, a commune in the Rhône-Alpes region in south-eastern France, Chalet Brikell is an exceptional 12,900 square foot luxury accommodation unit developed by the creative team at Pure Concept.We are a bit surprised to see this project in at number one, although we have to admit it got us thinking about winter, skiing and warm nights by the fireplace- so we salute your option.
#2. Need your room layout on paper as soon as possible? Check out the MagicPlan application, a small program which can generate the plan of a room in seconds. Simply initiate the app from your iPhone or iPad, turn around in a circle, mark the corners and take pictures with the device's camera. The result? A professional sketch with an accuracy of about 6 inches, which can further be exported in multiple formats.
#3. Take 5,000 square foot and give them to the architects Beyer Blinder Belle and Costas Kondylis! The output: an exclusive five bedroom duplex penthouse located in the city of fascination, New York. Amazing sights, high ceilings, large windows and an exquisite selection of elements of décor adorn this place, giving to it a vibrant touch of elegance.
#4. Shangri-La's Boracay Resort & Spa in the Philippines is set between the expanses of Puka Shell Beach's white sand and the luscious hillside it adorns. #5. Rustic and homey artistic patterns elaborated using no less than 30 000 bottle caps were used to decorate a small wooden home located in the Russian village of Kamarchaga, in the Siberian taiga. The owner and mastermind behind the unusual project is Olga Kostina, a Russian pensioner with a will to cross the boundaries of common rural home design.

The Blanco de Ibiza residence was built more than 30 years ago and it has been recently restored by the architect Malales Martinez Canut, pointing on the perfect blending of two diverse architectural styles, Mediterrean and Spanish. With a stunning view upon the Mediterrean Sea, the retreat is simply enchanting.
#7. Proving that light-flooded residential spaces can be cozy, this spacious Scandinavian apartment constructs a dreamy scenario for a fulfilled lifestyle. Overlooking Gothenburg from the top level of a seven-story 1907 building, the 90 square meter apartment displays a lovely Scandinavian interior arrangement, punctuated by modern furniture that upgrade it to the needs of our century.
#8. We love to see new projects take the shape of their owner's dreams, whichever style they may convey. This rustic beauty in South Carolina's idyllic community of Spring Island was designed by BRZ Architecture to become a family retreat sprinkled with reclaimed wood floors, antique ceiling beams and traditional tabby walls in the living room.
#9. Soneva Fushi is a welcoming resort located in a privileged location on a jewel of an island boasting perfect beaches and a vibrant neighboring reef. The inviting villas are perfectly embedded in the picturesque scenery, offering unimaginable comfort and pampering services.
#10. The Nevis Pool and Garden Pavilion in Washington DC is a contemporary garden addition that provides a threshold between the perfectly manicured man-made landscape and adjacent wilderness of the woodland. Imagined by Robert M. Gurney as a modern duo reinforcing the comfort of the main house, the pool and pavilion offer a serene environment for relaxation and entertaining.
